Diane Sodja brought in some knick- knacks from a
garage sale which appeared to be quite old and asked if anyone would know anything about them.
Guest Speaker The speaker tonight was our own Lorraine Tinsley on Using Paper for making miniature
models. She has made a Model T Ford almost entirely out of paper as a gift for her Dad. She got the
plan from Dollhouse Miniature June 2006. She described the entire process which took her two months.
She showed some of her other projects made from paper including furniture, books, memory books and a
tiny train station in a Christmas ornament. She had pages of photocopied dishes, which can be used
to make miniature dishes- it was suggested we get a copy of this for our library. Some of her favourite
places for material are Wallachs and Micheals.
